A gun safe has been located in a car-park at a Narre Warren North school overnight.
Police have been told that a car reversed into the car park, dumped the gun safe and set it alight with an unknown accelerant about 2am on Monday, 19 February.
MFB put out the fire. The safe was empty except for some burnt clothing.
Police are making enquiries as to the ownership of the safe.
