Casey is set to be abuzz with exercise, fit bits and lycra in April.
The council hosts Active Casey – a month of free and low-cost activities such as gym classes, disc golf, tai chi, soccer mums, Kung Fu, a fun run, walking groups and calisthenics.
Casey mayor Geoff Ablett said it was a chance to try something different and make new friends.
“It proves to be popular with our residents each time, providing an opportunity to get active in ways you may have never tried before.”
Active Casey, in its fourth consecutive year, runs until Sunday 29 April.
It runs in conjunction with the State Government program Premier’s Active April, which offers several benefits and promotions.
