The deadline for pet registrations in Casey is rapidly looming.
Owners must renew pet registrations by 10 April, with the option of completing the transaction online.
A Casey spokesperson said registration fees were used for animal services such as helping reunite lost pets, pet events and investigating dog attacks.
A State Government levy was included as part of the fee.
“It is the responsibility of every dog and cat owner to ensure their animal’s registration is up to date, and that this is maintained annually throughout the animal’s lifespan.”
Fees were reduced for microchipped and desexed pets, those with approved obedience training and those aged more than 10.
