Gym on the road

By Cam Lucadou-Wells

Look for a workout on wheels coming to a place near you.
Casey Mobile Gym is believed to be one of the first in Australia.
It is a trailer full of bars, racks, cables, a punching bag and other fitness equipment.
And most important, it comes with a sound system.
Aptly, the gym made a recent outing during Active April at Wilson Botanic Park, Berwick.
Casey ARC health and wellness coordinator Mo Mudaliar says the go-anywhere gym is part of trying to activate people outdoors.
It caters for people who can’t make it to gyms, getting them confident using gym equipment, Mr Mudaliar said.
The gym can also be taken out to sports groups for specialised strength and conditioning.
