Celebrating with a splash of colour

By Brendan Rees

Narre Warren’s Fleetwood Primary School transformed into a sea of colour on Friday 19 June with the school holding its inaugural colour explosion run.

The event marked the end of the term and was used to help raise funds for extra seats and tables at the school.

Year 5 teacher Jasmin Rush said 384 students from Foundation to Grade 6 participated in the fun run with a variety of obstacles and activities set up.

“Families were welcome to attend, with many younger siblings getting involved. The school’s FACE committee ran a fantastic barbeque,” Mr Rush said.

“The fun run was also a lovely reward after a long 11 week term.”
