Participate in the joint initiative of Brentwood Park Neighbourhood House and Selandra Community Hub, and join residents around Selandra and Brentwood Park to start, rejuvenate or expand your bike riding skills this Sunday, 12 August.

Participants will meet at Casey Fields Criterium Circuit bike track in Cranbourne at 1pm with the event running until 3pm.

“Many of us rode bikes particularly as children but are now interested as adults in getting reconnected,” health promotion practitioner Marlene Dalzail said.

“The Bicycle Users Group (BUG) mentors are bike education trained volunteers from five neighbourhood houses across our Casey, Cardinia and Greater Dandenong region, trying to offer opportunities for people to reconnect with riding.

“This includes practical support with skill refreshers and relearning.”

BUG mentors will be available on Sunday to help participants regain skills and confidence.

Bookings are essential via https://www.trybooking.com/book/event?eid=404111.

Participants will be contacted after booking to determine ability levels to assist in planning, so the training meets your needs.
