Australia is currently experiencing a drought crisis and as part of the Fiver for a Farmer campaign, the students at Berwick Primary have raised money doing their part to help.
The Grade one students have been inquiring into how weather can affect peoples’ lives and the environment.
They created posters and spread the word around the school to dress as a farmer on Monda, 13 August.
A number of students even bought money in from their own personal moneybox. The school raised $3930.
All money raised will go to Drought Angels and Rural Aid, which provide much needed assistance and relief for farmers in distress and poverty.
