A Narre Warren woman was caught by members of Casey Highway Patrol travelling at 110k/h in an 80 km/h zone on the Princes Highway in Hallam on Thursday, 23 August.
The 54 year old was intercepted by police at 4.30pm in her 2005 Mercedes Benz C180K before returning a positive preliminary breath test and being subsequently transported to the Narre Warren Police Station where she returned a blood alcohol concentration reading of 0.16.
The driver was served a section 51 notice, immediately suspending her licence, her vehicle was impounded due to having prior drink driving convictions and she will be summonsed to appear before the magistrate in due course.
