The exhibition will be open to the public from 10am to 4pm both days.

“I wish to congratulate Calvin Bell, Judy Owen and the members from Provenance Artists Inc for organising the paintings for this wonderful event, which will showcase the finest Armistice Art from local leading artists,” Mr Byrne said.

“This event was funded under the Australian Government’s Armistice Centenary Grants Program.

“It was an honour to catch up with Ms Owen this week to see just one of the outstanding paintings that will be on display at the Exhibition.”

Mr Byrne said to commemorate the Centenary of Armistice he would encourage local residents to attend this special event.

This special exhibition will also be on display at Casey Central, 400 Cranbourne/Narre Warren Road from 5 to 11 November with a special ceremony at 11am on Remembrance Day – 11 November.
