CCTV cameras for Narre Warren and Hallam

The CCTV camera network will be extended into the Spring Square, Hallam and Webb Street, Narre Warren activity areas with $250,000 of state government funding to enhance the safety of shoppers and traders.

An elected Liberal government will provide the funding.

Having an extensive CCTV network around the Narre Warren North electorate will act has a deterrent for would be criminals and assist police in catching criminals when they do offend.

“Small businesses just like these here in Spring Square, Hallam, have felt firsthand the effects of Labor’s ‘soft on crime’ policies with some of them having been broken into and ransacked multiple times,” candidate for Narre Warren North Vikki Fitzgerald said.

“We need to protect these businesses and their customers.”
