New off-leash dog park for the south-east

South-Eastern residents and their four-legged friends will have a new place to stretch their legs and enjoy the outdoors, with a new local dog park.

A re-elected Labor government will invest $5 million to build 15 new off-leash dog parks across Melbourne, and will work with Casey Council to identify an under-utilised park or reserve that is suitable for the new enclosed dog park.

“This brand-new park will mean local families have somewhere they can enjoy getting outdoors and letting their dog off-leash safely,” member for Narre Warren North Luke Donnellan said.

Member for Narre Warren South Judith Graley said, “Having somewhere safe to let our four legged-friends off-leash is so important.”
