Dangerous ride leads to an expensive destination

Members from Casey Highway Patrol intercepted a 2014 Yamaha XVS650 motorcycle on Golf Links Road, Narre Warren At approximately 6pm on Sunday, 14 October.

The 30 year old male rider from Narre Warren South did not hold a motorcycle licence, was not wearing a motorcycle helmet and enquiries revealed the motorcycle he was riding was also not registered.

The rider received a total of over $1600 in infringement notices and three demerit points, he was also arrested in relation to an unrelated outstanding warrant for which he was charged and bailed to attend Dandenong Magistrates’ Court later this month.
