More than 160,000 people are planning to take part in the National Fuel Strike tomorrow, Friday 26 October.

Motorists participating are to completely boycott all petrol stations in protest of increasing petrol prices.

One of the National Fuel Strike Facebook pages stated that many people have pointed out that if you fuel up earlier or later it makes no difference so in order to truly take a stand you can catch public transport or find an alternative way for the week/weekend that will help further impact.

The protest was organised by Queenslander Sabrina Lamont.
