Community service granted $10,000

Casey North Community Information and Support Service, has been awarded a $10,000 grant through Westpac Foundation’s Community Grants program.

The grant will help fund support programs for disadvantaged and vulnerable groups experiencing various levels of crisis in Casey.

“The grant will be directed to the Keeping it Together program which helps women learn the skills required to develop and sustain healthy relationships,” program manager Julie Leonidas said.

“Last year, the Westpac Foundation grant enabled us to offer the program to residents of Frankston and this year we are thrilled that we can now offer it to dedicated groups in the Shire of Cardinia, and the Cities of Casey and Frankston, which report some of the highest incidences of family and relationship breakdown in Victoria.”
