$15,800 raised for drought-affected farmers

In just two months, Casey Central Coles and its customers have contributed more than $15,800 to the Victorian Country Women’s Association (CWA) to help drought-affected farmers, making the Casey store amongst the top 10 fundraising stores in the state.

With the company matching every donation dollar-for-dollar during August and September, Casey customers have helped to raise more than $1,061,000 in the state for the CWA to help drought-affected communities with household and family expenses.

Overall, the company and its customers have contributed more than $1,061,000 million to the Victoria CWA.

“This fantastic effort by Coles and the people of Victoria, and once again this shows how we all stand and join together in times of need to help and support those experiencing hardship – this time it is drought,” CWA state president Lyn Harris said.
