New bus routes launching soon

Two brand-new bus services will be delivered to Clyde and Berwick by the Labor State Government.

Member for Eastern Victoria Region Daniel Mulino MP announced an $8 million investment over four years to plan and deliver services from Clyde to Berwick and Clyde North to Berwick.

There will be more frequent services along Clyde Road, making it easier for residents to access the services and places they need.

The new Clyde North to Berwick route will operate from Grices Road west along to Clyde Road, and then north up Clyde Road towards Berwick station.

The new Clyde to Berwick route will travel along Clyde Road from Clyde to Berwick.

Both routes will provide easy access to the local shopping precinct and Berwick station, while linking with other services to get passengers to Monash University, Berwick Campus and Chisholm TAFE in Berwick.

The new services are funded through the Growth Areas Infrastructure Contribution Fund, which provides funding for infrastructure in Melbourne’s growing outer suburbs, ensuring health, education, public transport and other services grow as these communities do.
