$575,000 promised for Fountain Gate Secondary College

Fountain Gate Secondary College in Narre Warren could have a new Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM) Learning Centre and two new school buses if the Liberals are elected at the state election.

The Liberals will contribute over $575,000.

With over 1000 students enrolled at the college, this grant will provide modern, updated technology and facilities to the students who can fully explore their interest in STEM subjects.

“Luke Donnellan has been the absent MP for 16 years, choosing to ignore the electorate he represents and has done very little to support schools in all that time – Narre Warren North deserves better,” Liberal candidate for Narre Warren North Vikki Fitzgerald said.

“Fountain Gate Secondary College has continued to cater for their students’ diverse academic and individual learning needs despite this lack of support.”

Ms Fitzgerald said this commitments means that the college will be able to cater for future growth and provide even better educational opportunities for local students, including transportation to sporting competitions and other educational excursions, at minimal cost to already struggling families.
