These toys were made by the clubs 80 plus members throughout the year it takes the twelve months to make these toys.
“We receive generous sponsorship from Beaconsfield Timber and Hardware, Paintwright Berwick, Hare and Forbes Machinery House, Pakenham Quilters and Patchworkers and the support from the City of Casey, The Old Cheese Factory staff and the Shire of Cardinia, and our local politicians,” club president Len Preece said.
“The club supports men and women who have finished their working careers who have a common interest in woodworking and we aim to give them something to do in their retirement and assist them in maintaining a healthy and meaningful life.
“We welcome any person to join the club, they do not need to be experienced in woodwork most of our members have been in various careers during their working lives. It is also our way of supporting the local communities.”
