Motorists on the Monash Freeway experienced major delays inbound after a truck rolled over on Thursday.
The truck was carrying building supplies and the crash caused stones to spill on the freeway in Narre Warren, near Narre Warren North Road.
Two of the three lanes were closed from 4.30am onwards.
Commuters were asked to use to the Princes Highway as an alternative route.
The freeway was re-opened at around 7.30am.
