Video clue for cops

Police hope CCTV images will identify those responsible for an attempted robbery that occurred in Narre Warren on Monday 4 March.

Casey Crime Investigation Unit is investigating the incident where it’s alleged a woman was approached by two women in the vicinity of Overland Drive about 6.45pm.

Police say the women made “numerous references” to the money the victim was carrying.

The women then assaulted the victim causing her to fall to the ground. The victim sustained a significant laceration to her lower leg as a result of the assault.

Police have released CCTV still images of two females who they believe can assist with their investigation.
