Knife-wielding men enter home

Police are investigating an aggravated burglary in Narre Warren on Tuesday 19 March.

Investigators have been told two men allegedly entered the Valley Fair Drive property just before 9pm, one armed with a knife, and demanded money from a female occupant who was in the lounge room.

A male occupant heard the commotion and entered the room armed with a cricket bat, police say.

The intruders allegedly ran from the house and are believed to have driven off in a ute.

The males were perceived to be of Asian or Islander appearance with their lower faces concealed with a bandana or similar.

No one was physically injured during the incident and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
