Local hero grants open

Do you know an everyday hero that deserves to be recognised?

The Westfield Local Heroes program has returned, with Westfield Fountain Gate announcing a call for 2019 nominations.

The program will discover and celebrate individuals and their affiliated organisations whose work promotes social well-being and harmony within the community.

In its second year, Westfield Local Heroes will again award three $10,000 grants to support City of Casey community leaders and their organisations to continue their important work into the future.

The program is open to people in all sectors including business, sport, government, education, sports, welfare, community and not-for-profit. All nominations are assessed to create a shortlist of six finalists in the City of Casey.

Six finalists will be announced in-centre at Westfield Fountain Gate and online on 30 July with the successful heroes announced on 1 October.

Nominations for Westfield Local Heroes close on Monday 8 April at 4pm.
