New home for Narre South Scouts

Narre Warren South Scout Group will receive $650,000 towards building a new hall.

The announcement was made by Narre Warren South MP Gary Maas, with the funding coming from the State Budget which was handed down last week.

While the new hall will provide a permanent home for the more than 100 members of the Scout Group, it will also be available for use in other local activities and events.

Mr Maas called the new hall a win for the whole community as well as the Scouts.

“This permanent location to call home will help them grow, reach out and assist more young locals,” he said.
