Vibrant dress wear was the theme of the day at Hampton Park Primary School as the school celebrated Afghani culture.
On Friday 7 June, the school held an Afghani Day to celebrate learning the Afghani language and culture.
The students participated in a range of activities including a presentation from talented dancers, and tasting of some delicious Afghan food.
School principal Liz Davey said students had the opportunity to learn so much from the broad experiences of their peers, with so many different cultures represented across the school.
“As a school we have planned other culture days across the year to highlight our diversity and to continue to celebrate and acknowledge our diverse community,” she said.
