Green thumbs make a difference

Little learners from Rose Garden Kindergarten in Berwick ventured to Harkaway Primary School where they did their bit for National Tree Day on Friday 26 July.

Not afraid to get their hands dirty, the students planted trees behind the goal posts near the oval.

School captain Ellie was excited saying “We like to see kids getting muddy and having fun.”

The school was grateful for the enormous generosity from The Squatting Frog Plant Nursery and Decor Centre as well as Rose Gardens Kindergarten for making the day possible.

“I just can’t wait to see the trees grow,” grade one student Joshua said.
