A knife-wielding man who allegedly tried to steal a car in the carpark of Casey Hospital on Wednesday 23 October has been arrested.
Police say a 55-year-old woman was sitting in her car near the entrance to the hospital’s emergency department when the man allegedly got into the passenger seat just after 5.30pm.
The man allegedly produced a knife and demanded that the driver get out of her car.

The victim fell to the ground, fracturing her shoulder, while the man drove away in her Mazda sedan.
Police arrested the 44-year-old man of no fixed address, in Wantirna South earlier Thursday 24 October.
