Casey Central is open for business

Customers can still book appointments with the team at Grindstone.

Casey Central is still the place to go for fresh food, take away and health care amid the Covid-19 crisis.

The centre’s three supermarkets and Target are all open, as are smaller stores selling meat, fish, fresh produce and baked goods.

The doctors at First Health Medical Centre are seeing patients and staff at Blooms Pharmacy are on hand for prescriptions and other health care needs.

Most of the restaurants and cafes are open serving takeaway only. Many of them are offering great ‘take home’ packs like tubs of homemade soup and bolognaise sauce from Degani or pick up a 2 litre carton of milk when you get a coffee at Muffin Break.

The centre has developed an online takeaway directory listing home deliver, Uber and other take-away food options.

Hairdressers including Grindstone, Hair Station, Hairway, Hair Express are open, while apparel retailers will begin opening towards the end of this week.

Variety stores, banks, the Post Office and telco stores are all open.

Customers are advised to call ahead if they are looking for a specific retailer as some stores are operating on reduced hours. Check www.caseycentral.com.au for store numbers.
