A winning lottery ticket sold at a Berwick newsagency has scored a group syndicate a division one prize of more than $1.2 million.
The syndicate entry was one of four division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto drawn on Saturday 13 June and take home a division one prize of $1,223,690.37.
As well as winning the division one prize, the central syndicate’s System 11 QuickPick entry also won division three 30 times and division four 150 times, bolstering the syndicate’s total prize to $1,261,629.87. The syndicate – a group of 10 Melbourne lottery players – shared $126,162.99.
Shares in the syndicate were purchased at 10 Tatts outlets across Victoria including Berwick Springs Lotto and News – and also spreading as far as the Gippsland region and Geelong.
A Lott spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said some syndicate members held unregistered entries and might have yet to discover their winning news.
“It’s fair to say these syndicate members have had a great start to their week by pocketing over one hundred thousand dollars,” she said.
“While we’ll be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their entries to their Tatts Cards, there are many syndicate members who have unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group.
