Two taken to hospital after crash

Two people have been taken to Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition following a multiple-car crash in Clyde early on Tuesday 21 July.

Emergency services were called to Clyde-Five Ways and Ballarto about 6.30am following reports of a four-car pile up.

A Victoria Police spokesman said a Mitsubishi ute and a Nissan Maxima collided at the intersection about 6.25am.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said a man in his 30s was taken to hospital in a stable condition with upper body injuries while a man in his 50s was also taken to hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.

Police have not indicated the cause of the incident at this stage.

Firefighters from Clyde fire brigade and Cranbourne fire station remained on scene shortly before 7.30am.
