Casey residents are being encouraged to throw their support behind this year’s Daffodil Day Appeal to help fund vital cancer research.
This year, Daffodil Day, which will be held on Friday 28 August, will look a little different with no site program, but the need to stop cancer is the same.
Victorians are being encouraged to donate a daffodil online in August for life-saving cancer research.
Money raised through the Daffodil Day Appeal will help fund some of the brightest researchers in the country who are dedicated to discovering the next cancer breakthroughs.
In 2020, Daffodil Day celebrates 34 years of turning Australia yellow, with Cancer Council Victoria aiming to raise more than $300,000 for cancer research.
Cancer Council is the largest not-for-profit funder of cancer research in Victoria.
Last year, Cancer Council Victoria dedicated more than $29 million to cancer research. For more information or to donate, visit www.daffodilday.com.au or call 1300 65 65 85.
