More road disruptions

A number of road closures are expected this week to facilitate works on the O’Shea Road Upgrade.

During these disruptions, safety barriers will be installed, road line markings will be changes and bus stops will be relocated as work zones are established.

Soldiers Road will be closed overnight between Streeton Way and Viewgrand Drive Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 January from 8pm to 5am. Safety barriers will be installed on the eastern side of Soldiers Road during this time.

Drivers can detour via Streeton Way and Viewgrand Drive.

Greaves Road will be closed westbound between Moondarra Drive and Clyde Road overnight on Tuesday 19 January from 8pm to 5am, while safety barriers are installed on the south side of Greaves Road.

There will be double lane closures on Clyde Road southbound and northbound overnight on Wednesday 20 January from 8pm to 5am for the installation of safety barriers on the east and west sides of Clyde Road near the intersection of Clyde and O’Shea Road.

Route 899 bus stops on Clyde Road will be temporarily relocated to enable construction of the O’Shea Road Upgrade from Monday 18 January to 2022, with new temporary bus stops located at:

To Berwick Station: New stop open on Clyde Road north of Greaves Road outside of Zagames

To Avenue Village Shopping Centre: New stop open on Clyde Road prior to Cresthaven Boulevard

In addition, there will be day-time lane closures on Clyde Road from Monday 18 to Wednesday 20 January to facilitate these relocation works. Speed restrictions will be in place.
