Students at Strathaird Primary School are a step closer to getting the facilities they need for a great start in life, with an architect appointed to design the school’s exciting upgrade.
Narre Warren South MP Gary Maas announced on Tuesday 30 March that Gray Puksand has been appointed to design the school’s $10 million upgrade.
The upgrade will build a new toilet block and a state-of-the-art eco cubby which is a multipurpose facility including learning spaces and a kitchen for students, parent program sessions and for whole of school events.
The eco cubby will enhance the learning of students and their understanding of innovations in sustainability while leading to lower energy use and reduced waste.
“It’s exciting to announce Gray Puksand as the architect as it is an important step in delivering this project for the local community,” Mr Maas said.
“This investment builds on previous upgrades and maintenance of our local schools and ensures that our students have the best opportunity to learn and succeed.”
