Covid exposure sites in the south east have dropped off the list as the 14 day exposure period comes to an end.

Previous exposure locations in Narre Warren North, Beaconsfield and Berwick are no longer listed among Victoria’s exposure sites, in good news for residents.

Certain restrictions remain in place however, including masks indoors and outdoors, density limits on venues and a ban on private gatherings in the home.

On Tuesday 3 August, Victoria recorded four new locally-acquired cases of the virus, all of which were linked to current outbreaks and had been in quarantine throughout their infectious period.

Authorities are continuing to encourage anyone with any symptoms to get tested immediately.

Testing sites are located around the City of Casey, including at Akoonah Park in Berwick and Casey Fields in Cranbourne East.

Those looking to get vaccinated can do so at a vaccination centre at the Cranbourne Turf Club.

Walk-ins are currently available at this site for priority groups only and bookings are available for other eligible patients.

Some GPs are also providing vaccines, and pharmacies – including Chemist Warehouse Fountain Gate – will begin vaccinating in the coming weeks.

On Tuesday 3 August, Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton said the next review of Victoria’s current Covid restrictions would take place on Tuesday 10 August.
