Star News Group editor Tracey Matthies captured this stunning image of the moonrise this week.
She said the image was taken through her 8 inch Dobsonian telescope with a 15mm eyepiece on an iPhone XR with a NexYZ adaptor.
“It’s the first time I’ve had my telescope out in months so I was pretty pleased to get this,” she said.
Just moments later, she added, the sky was fully clouded over – talk about good timing!
