Pharmacists at the vaccine ready

Pharmacists at Chemist Warehouse’s two Fountain Gate stores are ready to administer the Covid vaccine.

The pharmacy began rolling out vaccines from this week to help people protect themselves and their loved ones from the virus.

Chemist Warehouse offers AstraZeneca vaccines only, which have been proven to be highly effective at preventing hospitalisation and death from Covid-19.

Pharmacist and immuniser at Chemist Warehouse Fountain Gate, Raman, said being able to offer the vaccines through the pharmacy provided a good opportunity for the public to get the shot.

Chemist Warehouse Fountain Gate store manager Lee said getting vaccinated was “good for the community”.

They’ve seen strong demand so far, giving out 20 doses over two days.

He urged the public to book in for their shot and to make sure they kept their appointments to ensure no vaccines are wasted.

Chemist Warehouse Fountain Gate is located at 6/420 Princes Highway, Narre Warren. Chemist Warehouse Westfield Fountain Gate is located at shop 1083, 352 Princes Highway, Narre Warren.
