More Covid exposure sites in Casey

The emergency department waiting room at Casey Hospital is the latest exposure site to be identified in the City of Casey.

The waiting room of the emergency department, at 62-70 Kangan Drive, Berwick, has been named an exposure site after a positive case attended from 8.28pm to 11.36pm on Tuesday 14 September.

This is a tier one site, so anyone who has visited this location during these times must get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days from the exposure.

Also on Tuesday 14 September, the main department of the emergency department as been named as an exposure site, between 11.36pm and 11.59pm.

The main department is also listed as an exposure site on Wednesday 15 September, from 12am to 2.10am.

Both times are tier two sites, so anyone who has visited these locations during these times should urgently get tested, then isolate until confirmation of a negative result.

They should continue to monitor for symptoms, get tested again if symptoms appear.

The adult short stay unit of the Casey Hospital emergency department has also been listed as a tier one exposure site, between 2.10am and 2.26pm on Wednesday 15 September.

Anyone who has visited this location during these times must get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days from the exposure.

Meanwhile, multiple tier two exposure sites have been identified in Cranbourne North. These are:

– GIG Radiology, 2 Woodbine Avenue, Cranbourne North. A positive case attended on Friday 10 September, between 2.55pm and 3.10pm. Anyone who attended at this time should get tested urgently and isolate until they have a negative result, then continue to monitor for symptoms and get tested again if symptoms appear.

– Park Avenue Medical Centre, 3-7 Kingdom Drive, Cranbourne North. A positive case attended on Friday 10 September between 11.25am and 11.54am. Anyone who attended at this time should get tested urgently and isolate until they have a negative result, then continue to monitor for symptoms and get tested again if symptoms appear.

– Woolworths – The Avenue Shopping Centre, William Thwaites Boulevard, Cranbourne North. A positive case attended on Thursday 9 September, between 6.25pm amd 7.05pm. Anyone who attended at this time should get tested urgently and isolate until they have a negative result, then continue to monitor for symptoms and get tested again if symptoms appear.

– Woolworths – The Avenue Shopping Centre, William Thwaites Boulevard, Cranbourne North. A positive case attended on Saturday 11 September between 6.30pm and 7.05pm. Anyone who attended at this time should get tested urgently and isolate until they have a negative result, then continue to monitor for symptoms and get tested again if symptoms appear.

– Woolworths – The Avenue Shopping Centre, William Thwaites Boulevard, Cranbourne North. A positive case attended on Sunday 12 September between 3.15pm and 3.50pm. Anyone who attended at this time should get tested urgently and isolate until they have a negative result, then continue to monitor for symptoms and get tested again if symptoms appear.

A positive case took a train on Sunday 5 September from Cranbourne Station to Dandenong Station.

The case was on the train between 7.26pm and 7.44pm.

This is a tier two site, – urgently get tested, then isolate until confirmation of a negative result. Continue to monitor for symptoms and get tested again if symptoms appear.
