Casey Hospital’s Emergency Department waiting room is again listed as a tier 2 exposure site for Covid-19.
A positive case visited on Saturday 18 September between 3.21pm – 4.38pm.
Only members of the public who attended the site during the period of interest are considered tier 2 contacts.
Anyone who has visited this location during these times should urgently get tested, then isolate until confirmation of a negative result.
Continue to monitor for symptoms, get tested again if symptoms appear.
The City of Casey is increasingly an area of concern for officials.
Speaking to the media on Friday 24 September, Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton said there had been an “uptick” in the south eastern suburbs in recent weeks.
Earlier this week, the ground floor of a business complex at 68 Victor Crescent, Narre Warren, was named a tier 2 exposure site multiple times.
A positive case attended on Monday 13, Tuesday 14, Wednesday 15 and Friday 17 September between 8.15am and 5.30pm each day.
Anyone who has visited this location during these times should urgently get tested, then isolate until confirmation of a negative result. Continue to monitor for symptoms, get tested again if symptoms appear.
