Mama Boys still delivering support

Mama Boys Pizza in Berwick, which has helped keep families afloat with its free pizza initiative over the pandemic, will continue to support people even as lockdown lifts.

The business has been providing free pizzas to those struggling financially through Melbourne’s lockdowns for the past 18 months.

Describing the work as a “privilege”, the owners announced on their Facebook page on Wednesday 20 October that they would continue to provide for locals in need after restrictions had eased.

“Despite the fact that the lockdown will end tomorrow night, we wanted to let you know that we are still here to help anyone in need,” the company said in its Facebook post.

The owners also thanked the community for their support over the past 18 months.

Anyone in need of a feed should reach out to Mama Boys via their Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/mamaboyspizza.com.au/
