Casey remains the top Covid hotspot in Victoria

The City of Casey is the number one hotspot in Victoria by local government area (LGA) based on new numbers released by the Department of Health.

There were 159 new Covid cases in the past 24 hours adding up to 1960 active cases in the Casey LGA.

There has been 6951 cases in the Casey LGA since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The postcode of 3977 had a total of 47 new cases, which includes Cranbourne.

the postcode of 3806 had a total of 16 new cases, which includes Berwick.

Cranbourne and Narre Warren are between 75 per cent and 80 per cent fully vaccinated while Berwick has passed the 80 per cent mark as of 3 November.

66,155 Covid-19 tests were processed yesterday across Victoria with 1343 new cases.

10 people died of Covid related complications bringing the total number of deaths in Victoria since the beginning of the pandemic to 1161.
