Members of the SD3 Frontline Tactical Unit worked hard to give multiple offenders a good reason to give up crime for their New Year’s resolution for 2022, after catching 10 people breaking the law on New Years Eve.
Police charged a Berwick man with possession of prohibited weapons when he was found with a machete and knuckle dusters inside his vehicle.
A Narre Warren man who was driving erratically in Endeavour Hills was intercepted, returning a positive breath test three times over the legal limit.
The male had his vehicle impounded and has an upcoming appearance at the Dandenong Magistrates’ court.
Police also intercepted a Clyde man driving in Hallam who had recently had his licence suspended.
A search of the males car located prohibited weapons and ammunition.
His vehicle was impounded and will be required to attend the Dandenong Magistrates’ court at a later date.
A Pakenham man was arrested, charged and bailed to attend the Dandenong Magistrates’ court after a quantity of Methamphetamine was located in his vehicle, a Keysborough man was arrested and remanded into custody after 1.5 litres of GHB and methamphetamine was located in his car and another Kerysborough man was arrested, charged and bailed to attend the Dandenong Magistrates’ court after GHB was found in his vehicle.
Police helicopters followed a Cranbourne male and female after failing to stop on police request until ground units could safely arrest them.
Both offenders were charged and bailed for drug possession and dangerous driving.
In Springvale, a local man driving without a licence was intercepted and returned a positive breath test three times over the legal limit.
The male had his vehicle impounded and an upcoming appearance at the Dandenong Magistrates’ court.
A Dandenong man that failed to stop for a red light was driving whilst disqualified with five children in his car.
He will face the Dandenong Magistrates’ court later this month for multiple road safety related charges.
A Noble Park man was caught driving his friends $300,000 Ferrari whilst suspended.
