The Casey Australia Day Awards 2022 is set to be held online this year to keep the community safe throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
Due to the rise in positive Covid-19 case numbers, the City of Casey has made the decision to stream the event online.
The ceremony will recognise and celebrate the contributions of community members and groups within Casey over the past year.
The event will be streamed to the City of Casey Facebook page on Tuesday, 25 January from 7pm and can also be accessed by visiting vimeo.com/662443974.
Award categories include Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Senior Citizen of the Year, Local Hero of the Year and Community Group of the Year.
Nominations for the awards have closed for this year’s ceremony.
