Hallam Road closed from Thursday Night

Hallam Road will close from 9pm tonight at The Hallam Station level crossing as part of continued work on the Level Crossing Removal Project.

The road will be closed at the level crossing between 9pm and 6am each night from Thursday 27 January to Saturday 12 February.

Driver detours will be in place via Shrives Road, Cranbourne Road, Princes Highway, South Gippsland Highway and Pound Road with detour signage in place.

Traffic controllers will be on site to assist pedestrians to cross the level crossing safely.

Bus routes along Hallam Road will also be maintained through the level crossing with traffic management in place.

The Level Crossing Removal Project recommends allowing additional time when planning your journey.

Please note buses replace Cranbourne and Pakenham trains between Westall and Cranbourne/Pakenham stations to last service Thursday 3 February.
