Opening hours for Casey Cardinia Libraries are going to be a little different over the coming weeks as a result of the ongoing effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
From Monday 17 January through to Sunday 27 February, opening hours across all libraries will be altered to protect staff and the wider community.
Casey Cardinia Libraries chief executive officer Beth Luppino said she was keen to help the community to reconnect with one another and rediscover the joy of visiting the libraries.
“Many industries are struggling to keep their doors open as the pandemic affects workforces across the state,” she said.
“However, I am proud to say that we are still here for you with plenty for loan, quality information services, and library programs that are better than ever.
“Some of the big-ticket favourites are now back – Storytime, Tinies Time, after-school clubs and Health and Wellness events for adults.
“If you haven’t had a chance yet to reconnect with your local library, now is the perfect time – check out our current opening hours and events on offer here.”
The Cardinia Mobile Library has returned to a normal timetable.
