Check your tickets, Berwick! Mystery Berwick Lotto player yet to claim million dollar prize

Berwick Monday & Wednesday Lotto players are urged to check their tickets after one player from the area scored division one in last night’s draw – officially making them an overnight millionaire.

The Melburnian held the only division one winning entry in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4177, drawn Wednesday 27 April 2022 and takes home a total prize of $1 million.

The winning entry is unregistered, which means officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news.

Instead, they must wait for the ticketholder to come forward and claim their prize.

The life-changing entry was purchased at Berwick Springs Lotto and News, Kiosk 2 Eden Rise Village, 1 O’Shea Road, Berwick.

Berwick Springs Lotto and News owner Bernard Aulia said his entire team was hoping the winner discovered the sensational news soon.

” It’s so exciting to know that a customer has won a major prize,” he said.

“We’ll be letting all our customers know that a division one win was won here. Hopefully one of them is the winner!”

This week’s winning entry is the sixth division one winner the store has sold since they started the business in 2015.

“We always tell our customers, ‘you’ve got to be in it to win it’ and this latest win proves that.”

The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said one Victorian was only a life-changing phone call away from becoming a newly minted millionaire.

“This elusive winner has likely been going about their week as normal with no idea they’ve just won one million dollars,” she said.

“We’re urging all players who purchased a Monday & Wednesday Lotto ticket from Berwick Springs Lotto and News to check their tickets today.”

Ms Ramsamy said the mystery winner should contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin claiming their prize.

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4177 on Wednesday 27 April 2022 were 4, 30, 15, 16, 1 and 24, while the supplementary numbers were 34 and 7.
