A personalised approach

Everyone is made to feel at home at Astra Early Learning Centre in Narre Warren South.

There is no shortage of childcare centres in the district, but it’s the quality educators who listen and deliver a personalised approach to each child which has seen Astra Early Learning Centre become one of the centres of choice for young families in the area.

Caring for children from six weeks to school age, the funded three-year-old and four-year-old kinder programs are taught by Bachelor-qualified teachers.

The children are spoilt for choice when it comes to food, with nutritious meals and snacks prepared by an on-site cook.

There are incursions and excursions on a regular basis, including music and sports incursions, as well as clay workshops, and a yoga and meditation program in the Mindfulness Room.

Centre Manager Vanda Naidu spoke about the diverse community and unique environment which drives her and the team in their day-to-day work.
