Lysterfield South man dies in collision

A 30-year-old man has died in hospital after being hit by a car in Hawthorn East on Saturday night, 17 August.

The Honda CR-V SUV struck the male pedestrian on Riversdale Road about 11.10pm.

The Lysterfield South man was taken to hospital however passed away this afternoon.

The SUV driver, a 39-year-old Surrey Hills man, stopped at the scene.
