Libs pledge $100k for Narre Warren school

Fleetwood Primary School will receive improved school grounds and amenity upgrades under an elected Liberal Government.

A Liberal National Government would provide $100,000 towards improved school ground and amenity upgrades for the school, Narre Warren North candidate Timothy Dragan announced alongside shadow education minister David Hodgett on Wednesday 19 October.

Fleetwood Primary School is home to over 260 students, is an integral part of the local community, and yet is in desperate need of attention, the LNP said in a statement.

Today’s commitment from the Liberals and Nationals will bring the school up to standard by considering the future growth, safety and needs of the community, they said.

Mr Hodgett, said Fleetwood Primary School students and teachers deserve upgraded facilities.

“Timothy Dragan has been a strong local advocate for his community and will continue to back local families under a Matt Guy Liberals and Nationals Government.”

The commitment gives students and teachers access to the very best facilities, Mr Dragan said.

“This upgrade is a serious boost for Fleetwood Primary School and is a real solution in supporting the school community.”
