Beaconsfield Tennis Courts receive a vibrant Transformation

Following their recent upgrade, you would never guess the Beaconsfield tennis courts were over ninety years old.

Cardinia Shire Council has recently celebrated the upgrade of the Beaconsfield tennis courts, with several of the community’s youngest bringing their tennis rackets down to the club to try out the new courts earlier this week.

As part of the upgrade, two courts were resurfaced to enhance the community member’s social and official play at the club.

Beacon Hills ward councillor Brett Owen said “I am thrilled to see the completion of these upgraded tennis courts in our community.

“These courts will provide a fantastic resource for residents to enjoy for years to come”

The upgrades came about with the support of Council’s Community Capital Works grant program and the federal government’s Stronger Communities grant program.

Applications are now open for Council’s 2023-23 Community Capital Works Grants on their website: www.cardinia.vic.gov.au/ccwg until March 31st 2023.
