Man in life-threatening condition after collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Hampton Park yesterday that left a man with life-threatening injuries.

Two cars collided head-on while travelling along Laura Drive about 4.30pm on Wednesday 15 February.

The passenger in one vehicle, a 34-year-old Seaford man, was taken to hospital with critical head injuries.

The uninjured driver, a 38-year-old Hampton Park man, was arrested and is assisting investigators with their enquiries.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 22-year-old Hampton Park man, was not injured.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision to determine the cause.
