Gas leak controlled in Berwick

Berwick and Beaconsfield Country Fire Authority (CFA) units responded quickly to reports of a gas leak on Sunday 20 August.

A CFA spokesperson said three CFA units from Berwick and Beaconsfield brigades attended the scene.

“CFA responded to reports of a gas leak on Kirkham Court in Kirkham at around 12.41pm on 20 August,” the spokesperson said.

“The gas leak was due to a broken pipe.

“The relevant gas company was notified to attend to gain access to the pipe.”
